What can you turn a Border’s bookstore into, how about one of the largest restaurants in DC. The Hamilton opened in — and is a part of the Clyde’s/Old Ebbitt family. They have a large menu to go with their large space. One evening we went for a late dinner and decided to split their pulled pork open faced sandwich. All of it comes on top of a piece of toast which is then piled high with mac n’ cheese, brisket, and onion rings. If you’re from the South there is a high chance you will love this.
Like I mentioned, their menu is huge and it includes sushi, so if you have a large group or picky eaters, The Hamilton DC is definitely a great option and right near Metro Center and the White House.
