Brunch at Station 4

Brunch has been a big deal in DC for a while now and a growing number of restaurants are offering the entrée + bottomless drinks.  One Saturday a friend of mine and I were looking for a good brunch spot and was in the mood for some mimosas as well so we decided to try out Station 4, which is located in a newer building just across from the Waterfront Metro station in SW.

The décor is almost like a techno club with plush seating, chandeliers, and colors of red, black, and gold.  The brunch menu has a great selection, including pizzas for someone who is looking for an option other than breakfast.  The endless bloody mary and mimosa option comes with any brunch dish for $25.00.

The mimosas glasses are quite large and the fill them up! (Although it is a little light on the champagne, but still good.)

For our entrees, my friend went with the sirloin steak and eggs.  He ordered it rare and said it was really good.

I chose the Station 4 pizza with pork belly, bleu cheese, caramelized onions, and baby arugula.  I wanted to eat the whole thing and thankfully talked myself into taking two slices home to enjoy later.

Also, just to brag on our waiter, Alex, he was one of the best waiters we have had.  He was just enough personable and attentive.  He definitely added to our great experience.
